Newport Bay Olympic Torch Festival

The Festival weekend starts on Friday 25th May with a fun quiz at Newport Boat club then continues on Saturday 26th May from 10am with a day packed with activities and events, then on Sunday 27th the Torch lighting takes place at 10.30 with a nother day of events centred on the Rugby / School Field. At 3pm The torch passes through the streets of Newport and from 7pm there is a grand finale to the celebrations with live bands, music, dancing, BBQ, Bar, Torchlight Conga and Fireworks Display – Don’t miss this once in a lifetime event !
