Relax in our 17th century bar

The Golden Lion bar has been serving drinks to travellers and the local community since the 1600's when it opened as a coach house.  It is a warm, cosy pub with nooks and crannies and a roaring fire.

In recent years, we have added a bright and airy garden room that is cool in summer and warm in winter.
