The Big Project

When we first purchased The Golden Lion back in April 2000, it was in desperate need of some tender loving care. The potential was obvious with its location and reputation, but to transform it into a modern day Inn was NOT!

With much physical effort, a great deal of planning and many sleepless nights, we slowly transformed each area as time and finances would allow. Today we feel the hotel is able to offer our guests the best quality accommodation to be found in West Wales. Our aim was to source all contents of bedrooms as locally as possible. With hard work and great effort from local craftsmen we were ever so pleased to finish our big project on time.

As a family run Inn we put in extra care to ensure that every detail of your visit is of the highest standard and at the same time creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
